"Nurse, come quick. I cut myself somehow!" I said in a panic. I was getting blood all over my clothes. How would I get them clean? This was going to leave a stain for sure. Darn it!

I looked longingly at the wine baskets in one store, but a sharp glance from Sarah rebuked me without words.

I was unable to formulate a reply as she walked out the door and left me there alone. I think I was about to be a prostitute! No! I didn't want that. I tried the door we came in, but it was locked. I tried the other door, and it was locked too.

Only a few moments later, Betsy returned with a man.
