On this day, January 9, I uploaded my first story on Pixiv. Now, for why? Well, I thought that if I wrote what I wanted to read, I wouldn't need to wait for my favorite authors to upload novels. And so I did, uploading my first novel which was about a normal gray cat meeting a slime dragon from space who would pamper their new master with their abilities in both everyday life and sex in bed. It was my first story, born from my interest in slime and tentacles. And since it was new, I understood that it wouldn't immediately be famous, especially since I am an English author. But I wrote to entertain myself, so even though not a lot of people saw my first novel, I was content with myself and a little happy when someone did read my first novel.

After uploading, I went straight back to writing my new story. I had a lot of free time back then, allowing me to write a cat getting violated by tentacles going into every hole in their body as much as I wanted. I'd continue to write my personal story which had very minor success, but I was still happy about it. And as I wrote, I gained my first follower! I was quite happy that someone liked my work enough to follow me which gave me a lot of motivation to continue. I'd be so motivated in fact that I would sometimes write new parts in a single day, only waiting the next day to release it. What was basically the prologue of my personal story eventually finished, totalling up to 13 chapters which I then rereleased as a lengthy novel with a custom cover. And for the first time, I received more than 4 hearts on a submission. (Although it took a bit to do so)

At that point I was confident enough to start writing short stories, the first one being a dragon who found herself trapped in a temple before stumbling across a cursed armor. It was alright, but since it wasn't R-18, (which is what everyone wants haha) it didn't perform well. But even though it seemed like it did, I hope those who read it found it interesting. Moving on, I'd upload another short story, and then another, and another. I was beginning to have a small following, around 10 followers. And although it may seem small, I was still happy and grateful for those who followed me. I'd continue writing some normal novels along with my personal story, getting a little bit of attention now and then until I'd write my first successful short story.

The story was about two marine biologists who were hypnotized and impregnated by an octopus that had healing capabilities they were trying to find. The success really surprised me as it was the first time I had more than 10 hearts. And with that success, I knew I was finally doing something right. I'd write another short story four days later about an adventurer trapped in a frozen wasteland and was parasitized by lewd insects. Once again, when it did successfully, I was overjoyed. I had finally tasted gratification with my writing, once again motivating me to write more and more. I'd get to work writing short R-18 stories alongside my personal story. Not all were successful as the first novel that reached more than 10 hearts, but I didn't let it deter my motivation.

A few stories later, I reached success again. And to add to the success of my novels, I was slowly gaining followers too. It wasn't rapid growth but it was growth nonetheless; even one new follower made me very excited. However, I'd be a little saddened when I occasionally lost a follower... Anyways, I'd continue writing my personal story and one-shot R-18 novels, eventually making two new personal stories, (which I have neglected, sorry for those who missed Ming and Sangko, and Marc and Rumi, I'll try my best to make time to make new parts for them) as well as posting some pixel artworks I've made.

Writing was a hobby for me, and along with listening to music, it got me through school. It was also a tool to let out some sexual desires, which we can all agree on. The novels of other users helped me too, both in improving my writing and in pleasing myself with their wonderful writing and descriptive texts. (I love Zhuzi_Bamboo, 白嗷小狼狗, and Kota!!!) Hearts, views, and followers aren't just something I look to as a simple measure of my success and numbers to show off but something I look at for affirmation. For those who are reading, either a casual scroller or a follower, just your liking, hearting, following, and viewing assures me that some like what I've written. Your continued support motivates me to continue writing, to push me forward to make successful stories like Taro the Sand Cat and Kala the Scorpion Demon's story.
