　　同一時間，駿安在課後來到了學校的泳隊訓練場館，做在觀眾席上看著學長們開始新學期的泳隊訓練。

　　At the same time, Andy arrived at the school's swimming stadium after class, sitting in the audience seats and watching the senior members of the swim team begin their training for the new semester.

　　駿安自小喜歡游泳，蛙泳和自由式都是無師自通。小時候曾經參加過泳隊訓練，卻因為天賦不足，被集訓隊的教練勸退，父母當時也認為他不要白費力氣還亂花錢，還不如認真唸書，最終放棄了成為游泳選手的夢想。駿安之所以報讀這所學校，其中一個原因，就是這所學校的泳隊是國內數一數二的菁英隊伍。他看著學長們光滑健壯的身軀在泳道裡自由自在地穿梭，像是飛速游動的海豚一般，此時再想到還在卓廷手中的「波」牌，心想：「雖然昨天似乎真的有感受到，被祂附身之後對於水的渴望⋯⋯但我無論如何，真的好想下水驗證一下⋯⋯」

　　Andy had loved swimming since he was young and was self-taught in breaststroke and freestyle. He once participated in swim team training as a child, but the coach advised him to quit due to his lack of talent. At the time, his parents also thought it would be a waste of time and money for him to pursue swimming, so he ultimately gave up on his dream of becoming a swimmer. One of the reasons Andy chose this university was that its swim team was one of the best in the country. He watched as the senior members glided effortlessly through the water with their smooth, muscular bodies, like dolphins swimming at lightning speed. He then thought about the "Wave" card still in James' hands and couldn't help but think: "Although I did feel something yesterday when it possessed me, a desire for the water... I do want to jump in and test it out for myself..."

　　駿安嘆了口氣。他本來還戴上了游泳的裝備，想試一下，久違的在水中的感覺，然而看到自己和專業隊員的差距，他只好勸自己，起身從觀眾席離開。在體育館的門口處，還擺放著不同運動社團的招生攤位，他在泳隊的攤位拿起一張傳單，攤位裡的那位學長愛理不理地，玩著手機連頭也不抬。

　　Andy sighed. He had brought his swim gear, hoping to try swimming again after so many years. Yet, upon seeing the difference between himself and the professional team members, he had to persuade himself to stand up and leave. At the stadium entrance, booths were set up for different sports clubs, and he picked up a flyer from the swim team's booth. The senior member at the booth was indifferent, playing with his phone and not even bothering to look up.

　　「新生入隊需一律進行基礎能力選拔，通過後參加為期一年的集訓班學習基本功，集訓完成後於第二年統一遴選種子選手進入菁英隊。」

　　"All first-year students must undergo essential ability selection. Those who pass are required to attend a one-year training camp to advance basic skills. After the whole training process, elite ones will be selected to enter the elite team in the second year."

　　駿安不禁感嘆一句：「門檻設得有點高呀。」

　　Andy couldn't help but sigh, "The threshold is too high..."

　　攤位裡的學長頭也不抬地回答：「是的呢，沒信心就別參加了。」

　　The senior in the booth didn't even look up and replied, "Yes, don't join if you are not confident enough for it."

　　此時從體育館門口走出來一班喧鬧的人群。駿安居然碰上了卓廷和他剛相識的健美協會的夥伴們。

　　At this time, a noisy crowd walked out of the stadium entrance. Andy met James and his newly acquainted Fitness Club partners.
