　　隨著早班飛機準點降落，駿安登上朝向市區的機場專線，迎著陽光、隔著車窗玻璃目睹著這個陌生的城市。這一刻他才終於感覺到，一種久違了的期待和興奮。

　　As the early morning flight landed on time, Andy got on the airport shuttle towards the urban area, facing the sunlight, enjoying this brand-new city view through the window glass. It was at this moment that he finally felt a long-lost anticipation and excitement.

　　說來也是委屈。駿安上一次那麼開心已經要數到兩個月前，剛公佈高考成績的時候了。駿安當時高考意外地超常發揮，他本來得意地盤算著，考上第一志願已經不成問題了，於是摩拳擦掌計劃著這個暑假應該怎麼安排——首先當然是畢業旅行，跟同學一起環線遊；中途趁機去看幾場心儀已久的音樂節；回來再培養一些新愛好，比如參加拉花速成班，或者速寫精進班之類的——然而都還沒等到公佈錄取學校的日子，駿安當時的男友就無緣無故地向他提出了分手，理由是「異地戀沒辦法維持」。

　　What a shame to spit it out. The last time Andy was so happy was already two months ago, when the college entrance examination results were just announced. Andy unexpectedly performed exceptionally well in the exams, and he became complacent that it would not be a problem to be admitted to the first choice of school. He couldn’t wait to plan how to enjoy his summer time: first of all, of course, a graduation trip, a thorough circle tour with classmates; on the halfway he should took the chance to attend those music festivals that have been longing for; and then for some new hobbies, like the courses about latte art, or some advanced class in sketching and some more. However it had not even reached the day when the admission result was announced, Andy’s boyfriend decided to break up with him for no reason, only saying that "long-distance relationships are tough to maintain".

　　駿安甚至覺得不可理喻：「都還不知道各自會去哪個學校，你這是什麼意思？」

　　Andy even found it unbelievable: "We don't even know which school each of us will go to yet, what do you mean by that?”

　　前男友卻是漫不經心：「沒別的意思，我決定留在本地。你不是一直很想考去外地嗎。」

　　The ex-boyfriend seemed careless: "Nothing else, I decided to stay local. You've always wanted to go somewhere far, haven't you."

　　駿安當時不想再作過多糾纏。跟這位男友從高一暑假開始，剛好兩年整，除了剛開始的暑假比較親密以外，後面都因為各自忙碌而無暇經營這段關係。只是因為駿安在這前面談的好幾段，時間都很短，讓他錯覺以為，這一次大概就可以一直下去了。

　　At that moment, Andy wanted to entangled no more. They have been in relationship for right just two year, while Andy enjoyed nothing about the intimacy, except for the very beginning of it, blaming on being too busy for both of them. To be honest, Andy had not even experienced even once of the long-term relationship, and he was just presuming they can keep it long this time.

　　嘴裡喃喃說著「無所謂呀我不在乎。」但駿安從那天開始心情就蒙上了一層陰霾。「憑什麼我總是被分手的那一個⋯⋯」他以往的分手緩衝期基本都維持在兩個月；原先計劃好的旅遊音樂節興趣班，他一個都沒有落實，渾渾噩噩鬱悶著每天什麼事都沒做，等他清醒回來發現「有什麼好不開心」的時候，暑假就剛剛好結束了。

　　"Like I care." Andy muttered. But from that day on, Andy became bluer and bluer in mind, "why I am always the one got dumped..." It always took Andy two months for recovering from breakup, hence he failed to implemented any of his planned interest classes or music festival. He was so bored that he didn't do anything every day, and unable to come back to sober finding "there is nothing to be unhappy about" until the last day of the summer holidays.

　　所以一直到他抵達自己心儀大學所在城市的此刻，他才真正把那層陰霾徹底驅散掉：從車窗裡看著沿路不斷往車尾後退的天橋、隧道、咖啡店、美術館……陌生的大城市裡每一個角落似乎都很值得探索；車上也有不少跟他目的地一致的年輕面孔，或許他馬上就可以認識一班有意思的朋友了。

　　So it wasn't until he arrived at the new city, where his dream college located, that he really got rid of the blue: looking out of the shuttle window at the flyovers, tunnels, cafes, and art galleries that kept receding towards the back of the car ...... Every corner of the strange big city seemed worth exploring; there were also many young faces on the shuttle bus, who shared his destination, so maybe he could meet a bunch of interesting friends right away.

　　終於來到了校門口，正午的新生報到處。雖然猛烈的陽光曬得在場所有人大汗淋漓，但整個前台依然被新生和家長們圍得水泄不通。駿安隻身一人，除了一個大行李箱以外還有兩個大提包，實在不方便鑽進人群。正當他站在報到處面前不知所措時，一個穿著紅色格子襯衫的高個子，背著一個超大的露營背包匆匆經過，不經意撞到了駿安的提包，撞得駿安幾乎打了個踉蹌。

　　Finally he arrived at the entrance of the college at noon, right in front of the freshmen check-in counter. Although the fierce sunlight made everyone there sweat profusely, the whole front desk was still surrounded by new students and parents. Andy found it so hard to get into them alone with his huge suitcase and two travel bags. Right when Andy was at a loss, a tall boy in red plaid shirt carrying an oversized camping backpack hurried by and accidentally bumped into his bag, causing him to stagger.

　　「喂！」駿安喊了一聲，但高個兒似乎聽不見，徑直往人群裡走去。駿安一臉不忿，硬拖著行李箱追了上去。

　　"Hey!" Andy shouted, but the tall man seemed to be deaf and went straight to the crowd. Andy went after him with his suitcase.

　　高個子雖然看起來有點瘦弱，但似乎很輕易就撥開人群靠到接待處跟前。駿安尾隨著他，滿身的行李反而有點為難，不過最後還是擠到了高個子的旁邊。駿安還沒來得及搭話，接待台的老師就問：「新同學你好，請報一下你的名字～」

　　Although the tall man looked too skinny, he seemed to be able to move away from the crowd and get in front of the counter easily. It was a little difficult for him to follow this boy with all the luggages, but Andy finally squeezed in next to the boy. Before Andy could say anything, the teacher at the reception desk asked, "Hello freshman, please tell me your name."

　　「陳駿安。」

　　"Andy Chen."

　　「丘卓廷！」

　　"James Chiu!"

　　兩人同時回答，駿安心裡正不爽，「同學你剛才……」而邊說邊朝向他看的一剎那，駿安就把話止住了，同時開始發現自己不對勁：

　　Both of them answered at the same time. Andy became annoyed, saying "hey you just..." at the moment he looked towards him, Andy stopped talking, and began to realize something went wrong with him.

　　這位自稱丘卓廷的高個子，雖然一身火紅色的格子襯衫和卡其色的雜牌工裝褲直男打扮，配上明顯是起床就沒有打理過的雞窩頭，這種審美對於駿安來說只會鄙視；然而撇除掉這些，在他的黑框眼鏡底下，那精神閃耀的濃眉大眼、高高的顴骨、筆挺的大鼻子，整套五官搭配清秀的輪廓，非常精緻，絕對就是個美男胚子；外加他這種未經雕琢的爽朗直男風格，恰恰正中了駿安內心某一處審美標準，內心開始砰砰跳：「這傢伙有點可愛呀……」

　　This boy with long legs, calling himself James Chiu, was dressed so straight in the hot red plaid shirt and khaki-colored worker pants, with messy hair that was obviously unkempt since he woke up. Such outfit was a total failure in Andy's eye. However, excluding the above, his shining eyes under the black-rimmed glasses, his high cheekbones, and his big nose, formed a perfectly delicate, beautiful and cute face, just like a jewel before any polishment. Together with the candid and carefree style, this James became Andy's apple in the eye right just the moment: "what a cute boy..."

　　同一時間，這位丘卓廷同學也打量著駿安：一身藍色系的襯衫牛仔褲，還有乾乾淨淨的白色球鞋，明顯有精心搭配過；他再看駿安的臉，是同齡人裡屈指可數的毫無瑕疵，一丁點痘坑痘印都找不到，連髮型也是梳得整整齊齊。卓廷感覺他像是另外一個世界裡過來的人，他從沒見過那麼清爽整潔又幹練的男生，更不用說要他自己打理成這樣——但卓廷覺得蠻有趣的，這位同學眼睛裡似乎閃著光，跟其他人不太一樣的光——卓廷正想向駿安握手的時候，老師帶著驚訝的口吻說：「陳同學和丘同學，你們是約好的嗎？兩位是同宿舍的室友，在304號～」

　　At the same time, this James Chiu also spent some time sized Andy up: blue tone of shirt and jeans, and clean white sneakers, obviously the result of careful collocation; James also looked at Andy's face, which was so flawless without any pimples or freckles, even his hairstyle is so well combed. He had never seen such a fresh, neat and clean boy. James found it interesting that this boy seemed to be sparkling in his eyes, a sparkling light different from others. 　　卓廷笑了起來，向駿安伸出手：「那真的很巧呀，陳駿安你好，我叫丘卓廷，以後多多指教！」

　　James reached out his hand with a grin: "what a coincidence! Nice to meet you Andy, just call me James!"

　　304宿舍裡的灰塵有點大。卓廷把露營背包放下來之後就跟駿安說「打掃就交給我吧！」駿安發現自己的目光不太受控制，眼睛一直盯著卓廷沒法移開，嘴裡也不知道應該說什麼回話才合適。

　　the dorm of No.304 was a bit dusty. James put down his backpack and said to Andy, "Let me take care of the cleaning." Andy found that he cannot even control his gaze at James during the cleaning, becoming awkward to speak anything in response.

　　「他這直男審美的鬼樣子也不太像同性戀，但現在LGBT文化那麼普及，應該也不至於恐同？我要直接表白嗎？不行肯定會嚇到他……天啊不對我們才見面五分鐘，陳駿安你趕緊給我把口水擦乾淨……」

　　"He seems like a definite straight man with such awful outfit... but is that possible that he is not even homophobic? Come on, LGBT culture is so common now... Should I reveal my feeling directly? No, I'm sure I'll scare him ...... Oh no, we've only seen each other for five minutes, Andy Chen, stop being silly......"

　　卓廷似乎也沒有注意到駿安一直在看著他。沒過多久，宿舍的另外兩個室友也同時報到進來了。

　　James didn't even notice Andy had kept gazing at him. Shortly after that, the other two roommates also arrived at the same time.

　　「Hi，我是王瀚生，他是姜樂然，以後多多關照囉！」其中一位小胖說著，他旁邊的小帥哥也跟著揮了揮手。

　　"Hi I am Samuel and he is Luke, nice to meet you two!" the little chubby boy said, and the handsome boy next to hime waved his hand.

　　這兩位似乎本來就互相認識了。小帥哥樂然一手搭著小胖瀚生的肩膀，另一手幫他推著行李箱，兩人有說有笑地卸下行李，才發現灰塵很大，於是加入了卓廷的隊伍，一起搞起清潔來。

　　It seemed that they have knowned each other for long. The handsome had one of his hand on the chubby's shoulder, carrying the lugguage with the other one. They put down all the loads when they found the dust everywhere, so both of them joined James with cleaning together.

　　不知道是已經被卓廷的魅力迷住的原因，還是樂然的長相過於偶像派，哪怕樂然同學同樣長得很好看，駿安看了兩眼就覺得，應該就是個花瓶吧；而瀚生則更不用說，單眼皮的童顏臉搭配肉乎乎的小矮個，雖然很可愛但感覺就像還沒踏入青春期的小孩，更加不是駿安感興趣的類型。不過自詡心思細膩的駿安有察覺得到，這兩位的親密度似乎已經有點超過了普通朋友，或許本來就是一對也說不准？

　　Andy had no clue about whether he got overwhelmed by the attraction from James, he turned his back to the handsome boy Luke only because he looked too good, just like a common idol; needless to say that chubby boy Samuel, whose face looked so young and cute that seemed not even reached his puberty. Both of them are not any way to be the cup of tea for Andy, while Andy could reckon that they should possibly a pair of couple already, considering the unusual intimacy.

　　宿舍的條件其實並不算特別好，留著各種前人的雜物，桌椅床架也明顯經歷過很多代，瀚生同學搬椅子的時候，支撐的橫杆還直接掉到地上，木椅子馬上變的搖搖欲墜。瀚生同學又好氣又好笑地說：「這學校什麼都好，就是住宿條件也太差了吧。」

　　The dorm condition is honestly below average, leaving so much unrecognized stuff from who lived here before, and the furnishing seemed so old as well, that Samuel unintentionally broke one of the wood chair during cleaning. Samuel even got mad: “the college is all perfect except for living in dorm like this!"

　　不過所幸的是，他們在打掃過程感覺到，這幾位還算是性格不錯的室友，也恰到好處地渡過了這剛相識卻沒話題的尷尬期。就這樣，四人默默不語地打掃著，也不知道過了多久，就發生了那一幕詭異的事件——幾乎改寫了他們四人人生軌跡的事件。

　　Fortunately, they all can feel the good personalities from each others, which felt great to get through the awkward moments when they have just met with strange feelings. In this way, all of them did the cleaning in silence, after no one knew how long it took, till something strange happened - the issue that almost changed the whole lives of them.

　　駿安當時只看到，那個抽屜不知道是被誰打開了，隨後莫名在房間裡吹起一股怪風，吹得一直不斷，四人被吹起的灰塵垃圾擾亂得睜不開眼。此時駿安看到，抽屜裡有一個老舊的木盒被掀開，同時有數不清手掌大的卡牌狀的東西正從這怪風裡不斷飛出，穿牆就消失了；正當他打算走到抽屜那邊看到底是怎麼回事的時候，他聽到一片混亂中，瀚生和樂然在他眼前被那些發著光的「刀片」插入身體，兩人同時「啊！」地應聲倒地；他再轉頭看卓廷，不知道什麼時候卓廷也已經趴了在地上，無法動彈，身體則發著微紅色的奇妙的光。
