Akiko was escorted into the visiting room where David was sitting by two female prison officers. The officers seated Akiko in a chair next to David, released handcuffs, and went outside. Originally, that officers had to stay in the visiting room together, and they did not release the handcuffs, but they were considerate because David, Akiko, and the officers all knew what today meeting meant.

Akiko looked at all things David brought - clothes, shoes, and a photo - one by one and smiled and nodded to him. And she opened her mouth.

David asked a technician to do special embalming treatment on Akiko's decapitated head, so made Akiko's face look alive forever. After that, he put her head on her desk. And, at the wall of opposite side of the desk, at the point where Akiko's eyes were on, David attached his photo. The photo was the very photo which Akiko saw at the guillotine until she was decapitated.

Due to the embalming treatment, Akiko's face was eternally young and pretty. David said hi to Akiko's head whenever he woke up in the morning.

Years after Akiko's death, the real murderer was finally caught and sentenced to death, and Yukiko's false charge was finally cleaned.

David attended at the execution of the real murderer. He brought Akiko's head, and put it on his knees. Other people felt curious about Akiko's decapitated face being looked alive.

Akiko "saw" the very guillotine where she was decapitated for the first time after she was decapitated. And she also "saw" the real murderer was decapitated at the very guillotine where she was decapitated.
