Introduction:

Operating on the edge of society and the law, these plainclothes policewomen stand apart from the typical police force through their unique methods and formidable combat skills. Dressed in civilian clothing and moving through the shadows, they take on the most dangerous assignments solo—covert infiltration, surveillance, arrests and high-risk raids.

Unlike their uniformed colleagues who patrol in pairs, female undercover investigators work alone. They conduct deep-cover operations, pose as criminals, intercept dangerous transactions, and strike when the situation demands it. With a lifestyle far removed from the standard police routine, they keep odd hours, avoid unnecessary communication with their peers, and never interact with the press—earning them the status of urban legends.

This solitary approach has shaped their personalities to be both tough and reserved. They don’t trust easily, nor do they waste energy on sentiment. They never speak of their injuries or sacrifices, yet are always at the frontline, using finely honed bodies and advanced techniques to take down threats in a blink. Trained far beyond ordinary officers, their physical conditioning, close-combat capabilities, and mental resilience approach near-military standards, allowing them to remain calm and lethal under pressure.

They excel in swift, overwhelming strikes that neutralise targets before they can respond. While often labelled as “excessive,” their tactics are ruthlessly efficient in ending threats instantly.

But with high-risk missions come high personal costs. The toll of their operations is often overlooked by their superiors but magnified by the media. Their hard-boiled heroism, real or imagined, feeds countless news stories, documentaries and crime dramas.

Their paradoxical image—highly secretive in action, yet frequently paraded by the media—has turned them into walking contradictions. They operate in the dark, but flashbulbs always find them. They chase efficiency, yet are glamorised as icons. They are dangerous enforcers, and yet also mirrors of the public’s fantasies.

Gameplay:

Female undercover investigators are high-threat female zako with explosive power. Specialising in takedowns and control techniques, they dominate close-range combat using arm locks, elbow strikes, joint locks, shoulder throws and submission holds. Their signature weapon is the electric baton, which not only delivers painful shocks but also causes brief stun effects, interrupting enemy actions and opening windows for grapples.

The electric baton pierces through normal guards and, once the heroine is caught or stunned, the investigator can chain throws and control moves, denying any chance of retaliation.

They’re also masters of positioning—striking from blind spots, hiding behind environmental objects, and even faking a retreat before snapping back with a counterattack. If left unchecked, they can control the flow of a battle within seconds.

Counter:

Female undercover investigators are most dangerous at close quarters, so spacing is critical. Avoid letting them close the distance—many of their throws can’t connect if the heroine is airborne or attacking from behind. Stay mobile, and if seeing them raise their baton for a strike, dodge immediately—that’s usually the setup for a throw chain.

Although their single-target threat is intense, they lack extended combo strings. If the heroine can break their rhythm, they lose momentum quickly. Their defensive options are weak and their durability average, so dragging the fight into a longer skirmish will gradually expose their limits.
