In the morning, Amy shook Caryn awake.

"Wake up Caryn! They're here! They're here!"

"Who's here?"

"These!" said Amy, pulling up her shirt.

"But how?" said Caryn.

"If you focus all your inner energy on something or someone, then picture in your mind what you want them to be, you can cause that change. Someone powerful like your grandmother could turn a man into a toad if she wanted to. You and I are limited to just minor changes for now, until our powers fully bloom."

"I did that?"

"Yes dear. It was you. But needless to say, you need to be careful with your powers. Do not use them frivolously. And use them only for good."

"Yes mother, I will" she promised.

Two days later, at school, the little boy who had pulled Caryn's hair had another trick in store for her. As she walked down the hall, he ran up to her, pulled her skirt up, then ran into the crowd before she could do anything about it.

Caryn was seething. This boy had some nerve! If he was a girl, he would never do anything like that. Then she had an idea. What if he *was* a girl? If nature could be unfair and turn *her* into a girl when she didn't want to be one, then it would be only fitting if she could do that to a boy.

But it was too much for her now, with her limited powers, to be able to pull that off. But she suddenly knew her mission in life: turning bad men into women. "I'm sorry sir" she said to the principal. "I stayed up late last night doing homework, and I guess I was too tired to pay attention to math. I'm just a girl, and math is hard."

"That's all right, this is your first week here, and it must be difficult. But don't let it happen again, or I will have to write you up."

"Thank you sir!" she said, wondering at how she could get away with that as a girl. When she was a boy, it would have been punishment for sure, and a note to his mother. Maybe being a girl wasn't all that bad...

"You weren't in gym. Did you hear about Ramon?" said Cathy, when Caryn went to her last class of the day."

"No, what happened?" ask Caryn, knowing full well what she would hear.

"All the boys are teasing him because he wore a bra and panties to school today! He said he didn't even know he was wearing them, but now everyone is teasing him that he's a girl."

"Oh, that's so funny! What a riot. I should have known that he was a perv" said Caryn.

"You've got that right. He'll never be able to show his face in this school again. Everyone will laugh at 'panty boy' if he ever dares to return.

Caryn took a hair from the person that she wanted Michael to fall in love with, and used it in the potion. And when she slipped the potion into Michael's cup of soda in the cafeteria, he didn't even notice it as he drained the cup.

The look on Michael's face changed. He looked around him. Suddenly, he saw his best friend Dan. His heart pounded. Something stirred within him. He raced over to Dan, put his arms around him, and gave him a big kiss.

The cafeteria went into chaos. Dan glared at Michael, as if he had just been shot. He wiped his mouth off with his arm.

"What they hell are you doing? Are you crazy?"

"Oh Dan, please take me. I love you so much, how can you say that to me?" said Michael, his heart breaking.

"Don't ever talk to me again" said Dan. "In fact, don't ever come near me, or you're dead!"

It was exactly the reaction that Caryn had hoped for. Now Michael knew exactly how Cathy felt. He knew what it was like to love a guy, and to be rejected and ignored. It was sweet revenge. She had made him feel like a girl on the inside.

Caryn spent her entire summer at her grandmother's, trying to learn every last bit of magic she could. She had been able to do a few small individual feats, making boys wear girl's clothes, making boobs grow (although it was on a girl), and making a guy feel like a girl inside.

She would grow in strength, and as her magic increased, she would soon be able to put it all together. Her ultimate spell would combine all of her previous feats, but all at once. She wanted to be able to turn a boy into a girl.
