"Then I'll get you a wine" he said.

"And we don't drink in front of the girls" said John, trying to disguise his voice.

"Oh I love children too" said the man. "I've got two of them, but they live with my ex. Cute things. And what are your names?" he said looking down to the girls.

"They don't talk to strangers" said Judith coldly.

"I'm no stranger! I'm Floyd. I've lived on this here lake for almost thirty years now. If you ladies need anything, just call me. I'd be very glad to be of service. Nice to meet you ma'am" he said, staring John in the eye.

After he left, they all laughed.

"Linda! You just got hit on by a guy!" said Becky.

"You had better get used to it" joked Judith. "A hot blond like you is going to have guys all over her all the time."

John was afraid to admit something to them. He had been flattered at first by the attention by Floyd, but he found that he had actually *liked* it. He liked having a guy hit on him! It was somehow exciting, and made him tingle in a way he never had before.

"No!" he thought, but he could not deny the truth. He liked being a woman, and once he was in a skirt, his attraction was not to women anymore. He felt an attraction to men.

"I wish I really was a woman" he said.

"John, do you really mean that?" asked Judith.

"Linda" he corrected.

"Okay *Linda*. Lets see how you feel after this weekend. If you still like being a woman, or if you want to go home and be yourself."

The next day, Linda told everyone "I'm not feeling well, you go without me."

After everyone left for the beach, Linda put on a sundress and went to the deck to get some sun. Predictably, Floyd showed up within minutes.

"Ditched the others, huh?" he said.

"I'll take you up on that wine now Floyd" said Linda.

Five minutes later, he returned with a Styrofoam cup full of a pink blush which had to be two years old. But Linda reacted as if he had brought a $200 bottle of Bordeaux.

When the girls came back two hours later, they found Linda sitting on Floyd's lap, laughing and talking, touching each other all over.

"I think I'm in love" said Floyd.

Linda just grinned.

"Linda?" said Judith. "What are you doing?"

"Falling in love" was the reply.

Judith chased Floyd off, then brought Linda into the bedroom for a talk.

"What's going on John? We're not playing games now, you were flirting with a man. We're married, and you're fooling around with another man!"

"I'm sorry Judith, but we're both women, and I'm just not into that."

"You're really a man! You're really John!"

"I was in the past, but I don't think of myself that way anymore. The move that I've been a woman, the more I know that this is what I was meant for."

"But you hated it when our son became Jodi!"

"That's because I think I knew inside that I was next, and I was afraid to admit it."
